Say:

Don't say:
He knows to play the piano.

Say:
That grocer has plenty of customers.

Don't say

Client : is a person who gets help from a professional person

Say:
Five hundred and twenty two.

Don't say:
Five hundred twenty two

Say:
She is dressed in black.

Don't say:
She is dressed with black.

Say:
I may be able to go in a week's time

Don't say:
I may be able to go in a week

Don't say
She speaks English very good

Say
She speaks English very well

لأن كلمة good هي صفة و لا يمكن استخدامها محل الحال well
أما إذا كان المراد وصف اللغة نفسها فيجب تغيير ترتيب الجملة الى
She speaks very good English

Don't say

The man was absorbed at his work

Say
The man was absorbed in his work

معنى الجملة : كان الرجل منهمكا في عمله

absorbed in = منهمك في

كلمة absorbed يستخدم معها حرف الجر in وليس at

Don't say

He laughed on me

Say
He laughed at me

لأن الكلمة laughed يستخدم معها حرف الجر at

Don't say

Khaled is afraid from the snake

Say

Khaled is afraid of the snake

كلمة afraid والتي معناها خائف تاخذ حرف الجر of وليس from
afraid of = خائف من..
