قصة هذة الجزيرة تشبة القصص بالاحلام
بني جسر متصل بالقلعة
بنيت في 1794
مساحتها 67 هكتار ، بناها فريدريك ويلهلم الثاني 1793 ،
وتتميز في تصميم المناظر الطبيعيه والاشجار القديمة من حوالى 400 عام
واغلبها من شجر البلوط.

من المناظر الخلابة وبعض من المعلومات
عن طبيعة حياة الطاوويس في هذة الجزيرة

تتغذى الطاوويس على الحبوب والحشرات والفواكه والزواحف الصغيرة
وغيرها من موارد النباتات .

الطاوويس اجتماعية بطبيعتها
تعيش في مجموعات مكونة من زوجان إلى خمسة أزواج
وتساعد بعضها عند وجود خطر بحيث تبدي بالصراخ القوي
أكثر وجودها على الأرض بحثين عن الطعام وتنام على الأشجار
وتنام في مكان واحد تقريبا على الاشجار
وحيات الطاووس البري منظمة من حيث الاكل في مكان معين من الغابة
والحمام الشمسي لهو مكان معين ويتردد عليه .

يبلغ الطاووس عند بلوغة ثلاثة سنوات بحيث يكون اكتمل الذيل
ليبدأ بطقوس المغازلة , في موسم الربيع يبدأ بطقوس المغازلة
ناشراَ ذيله متباهيا بجماله
وبعد التزاوج تبني الأنثى عشها على الأرض من الأعشاب السطحيه
مصنوعة من القضبان والأوراق والمنظمات والمخفي عن أنظار المفترسات
وتبيض الأنثى من 4-6 بيضات في البرية تقريباًََ
وتحضنها من 28 يوما ً إلى 30 يوم
وتتبع الصغار أمها لمدة أربعة اشهر وتبعها فوق الاشجار ليلاً
ويكتمل نموها بين الثمانية اشهر وعشرة اشهر .
