Angry Help me

I need some one answer these questions , i have finial exam tomorrow please help me may ALLAH accept your good deeds.


Question 1: Phonetics: describing consonants and vowels (5 marks)



Look at the IPA chart that has been posted on Blackboard and choose five consonant symbols and five vowel symbols from the chart. Please choose at least three sounds which do not occur in English! For each symbol that you choose:



a) give its phonetic description, using the three defining characteristics of consonants or vowels. (e.g. [m] is a voiced bilabial nasal, [ʌ] is an open-mid back unrounded vowel.)


b) give one example of a word from English or another language which contains each sound. (e.g. [m] as in French maison 'house', [ʌ] as in English cut.)



Question 2: Phonetics: 'odd one out' (5 marks)

In each of the following sets of consonant or vowel sounds, identify which is the odd one out, and say why.

Example: [m] [p] [k] [β]
Answer: The odd one out is [k] because all the other sounds are bilabial, but [k] is velar.
