subject +used to +base verb+object

i used to buy a lot of frozen dinners and desserts
i used to drink high calorie soft drink.
i didnt use to check my blood sugar

example
before;drank coffee every day.
now;drinks tea or juice

sentence
i used to drink coffee every day. but now i drink juice.

but
when the verb is same in both clauses ,you dont have to repeat it in thesecond clause.
example
i used to eat meat , but now i dont eat meat
dont repeat(eat meat
but
i used to eat meat .but now i dont
