قلعة بعلبك او المدينة التي تشتهر بمدينة الشمس
قلعة بعلبك .. هياكل ضخمة:


- إلى غرب مدينة بعلبك اللبنانية وفي سهل البقاع تقع قلعة بعلبك الشهيرة. وهي بقية هياكل بناها الأقدمون (الرومان) لمعبوداتهم وزينوها بالزخارف والنقوش البديعة. وتقسم إلى عدة مواقع أثرية:
* الرواق: هو مدخل الهياكل القديم الحقيقي، يعلو عن سطح الأرض الخارجية ثمانية أمتار وهو مستطيل الشكل طوله من الشمال إلى الجنوب 50 متراً وعرضه 11 متراً. له في طرفيه غرفتان مزدانتان بنقوش كثيرة ومواقف للأصنام. وكان بين هاتين الغرفتين في مقدم الرواق صف مؤلف من إثني عشر عموداً من حجر الغرانيت وأمامها درج كبير طوله خمسون متراً..
- والجدار الداخلي من الرواق كان مزخرفاً بنقوش جميلة وكان في هذا الجدار الداخلي ثلاثة أبواب أكبرها أوسطها وعلوه نحو عشرة أمتار وعرضه سبعة وربع، وبني بجانب هذه الأبواب أدراج لولبية يُصعد منها إلى سقف الرواق والبهو الذي كان يُعبر إليه من هذه الأبواب.
* البهو المسدس أو الدار الأولى: هي دار مسدسة الشكل قطرها نحو 50 متراً ما عدا الأبنية المحيطة بها. وبكل زاوية منها غرفة وبين كل غرفة والأخرى معبد مربع الشكل، وقد كانت ساحة البهو مكشوفة للشمس. ويقال أن كاهنة الهيكل كانت ترتدي في غرف هذا البهو بملابسها الكهنوتية وتبتدئ بالاحتفالات بالرقص الديني في ساحة هذا البهو.


* البهو الكبير أو هيكل كل الآلهة: هو بناء مربع الشكل يحيط به إثنا عشر معبداً، أربعة منها بشكل نصف دائرة في الجهة الشمالية والجنوبية وما بقي فمستطيلة، وجميعها مفتوحة الواجهة وأمامها عمد من الغرانيت. وكل معبد منها يحتوي على صفين من الأصنام الواحد فوق الآخر وكان على جانبي كل صنم عمودان صغيران ويفصل المعابد عن بعضها حائط على واجهته صنمين علوي وسفلي.
- ولم يبق من هذه الأعمدة الجميلة سوى بضع قواعد باقية في مراكزها، وعمود صحيح في الجهة الشمالية الغربية وكثير من القطع ملقاة على الأرض. وفي وسط هذا البهو مذبح المحرقات وإلى جانبيه حوضان للماء، وجدران الحوض من الحجر الأصم مقسمة بين مربعات مستطيلة وأصناف دائرة مزينة برسوم تمثل رؤوس البقر، وبينها أكاليل الزهور.
- وكانت الجهة الغربية من هذا البهو مفتوحة ولا بناء فيها لئلا تستر مبانيها منظر هيكل جوبيتر العظيم الذي كان في ما يلي هذا البهو. وكان أمام الهيكل درج ذو ثلاث مساطب ويظهر أن "قسطنطين" الملك البيزنطي بدأ بهدم هيكل جوبيتر المذكور وأكمل خرابه "ثيودوسيوس" فوضعت أنقاضه وأتربته في وسط البهو الكبير بين الحوضين المذكورين آنفاً حتى تعالت فوق مذابح المحرقات وطمرت القسم الأسفل من الدرج العظيم.
- وعلى هذا المرتفع بنى "ثيودوسيوس" كنيسة ضخمة لم تزل آثارها ماثلة في وسط البهو، ولما فتح العرب البلد حولوا أبنيتها العظيمة إلى قلعة ومحوا آثار الديانة المسيحية من داخلها وبنوا في سوق الكنيسة الأيمن حماماً وفي صحنها وسوقها اليسرى بيوتاً للسكن وفرشوا أرضها بالفسيفساء الملونة ووضعوا في فناء دورها الحياض المزخرفة.
* الهيكل الكبير أو هيكل جوبيتر: هو الهيكل الذي كانت ولا تزل شاخصة إلى عظمته وفخامته عيون جميع زائري بعلبك. وقد جعل الرومان أمامه البهو والأروقة ثم رفعوه على دكة عظيمة تزيد عن ارتفاع الأبنية التي أمامه وأحاطوه بالأعمدة الهائلة وزينوه بالزخارف المجسمة، فتصاغرت أمامه تلك الأبنية مع أنها يقال أعجوبة الزمان ومن أبدع ما ولدته فكرة الإنسان.
- طول هذا الهيكل من الشرق إلى الغرب 87,5 متراً وعرضه 47,5 متراً بما فيه أعمدته ما عدا السور الخارجي والدرج الذي كان أمامه، وكان يحيط به أربعة وخمسون عموداً. وكان وراء العشرة أعمدة الأمامية صف آخر من الأعمدة يُنتهى منه إلى فسحة كانت أمام باب الهيكل.
- غير أنه ولسوء الحظ جنى البيزنطيون على هذا الهيكل فخربوا جدرانه وقوّضوا بنيانه ودكوا أسسه. ولم يُترك منه سوى أعمدة في جهته الجنوبية.
* الهيكل الصغير أو هيكل باخوس: لم تُعلم الغاية التي حدت بالرومان لبنائه بجانب الهيكل الكبير في منخفض من الأرض وعلى طراز يشبه بهندسته ونقوشه ذاك الهيكل، دون أن يكون أمامه بهو ولا أروقة.

- وهذا الهيكل من أجود الآثار حفظاً إذ يفوق في إتقانه وبديع نقوشه جميع الهياكل الباقية من عصر الرومان في العالم كله. وقد بني بغاية الإحكام في التحام الأحجار ببعضها البعض. وكان يحيط بالهيكل 50 عموداً منها 15 على الجانبين ومن جملتها أعمدة الزوايا. وبين العُمد وجدار الهيكل فسحة تبلغ الثلاثة أمتار عرضاً مسقوفة بألواح حجرية هائلة في الكبر ومغشاة بنقوش لا تقع العين على أجمل منها وأكثر إتقاناً.
- قد تعجز العبارات الجمالية عن وصف إتقان بناء قلعة بعلبك وجمال هياكلها التي بناها الرومان تعبيراً عن إخلاصهم لآلهتهم، ولكنها تبقى واحدة من أجمل المواقع الأثرية في العالم.
